torch coral (Flying Heads)

Kind of odd....
I noticed the tips of my torch coral floating around. Though there does not seem to be any missing. Do they shed?

There are 5 stalks hooked into 1 branch. There is about 1cm from the top part that is floating off and around.

Any1 have this happen? I never had this happen in the 7months I had it.

The coral seems to be doing really well.

Do you have a coral banded shrimp by any chance?
I see little bits of my torch here and there, no harm to the coral though. I suspect it's the coral banded shrimp picking at the tentacles stealing mysis.

I do not have any coral banded shrimp in the aquarium. I'm going to keep a good eye on this.

I've seen a piece of tenticle ripped off or drop off the coral... it damaged some hairy mushrooms from what I saw.
