Torch coral looking more like bubble coral

I attached two photos. One shows how the torch coral looked for the first 6 months I had it. Lately the tenticles have been barely extending. The second picture actually shows something it's only done twice. It started looking more like a bubble coral than a torch coral. The heads seem to be growing but I was hoping someone could help me and let me know if this is something I need to worry about. There has been no changes in lighting, water movement, etc. The male clown has lived in it since day 1 and it never seemed to bother the coral. He swims in between the heads more than on it and he is not rough with it either.

The parameters have been steady. Sg 1.025, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, phosphate undetectable, nitrates go up to 5 to 10 between weekly water changes. I have two powerheads that switch on and off or both on then both off. It's been the same since I put the torch in. I'm honestly clueless. It still seems to be doing good. The heads are growing. Is it common for them to bubble up like that?

As long as your water conditions are good, I wouldn't worry about it. Bubbling tips are not bad but receding tips are.

wow. Mine has never done this. Looks crazy. Don't know if this is normal, but like I said, I've had mine for a few months now and I have never seen it doing this.

Thanks everyone I will update this as time goes on. I'm hoping it's extremely happy as well. I do have an aussie gold/ purple torch right next to it that has its tenticles extended.
