Torch hasn't opened!

I got two torches nearly 1 week ago and one has not opened up at all. I did a water change yesterday but that did not change much. My other torch looks like its ok and has opened up. Just not sure what I should do with this guy.

I wouldn't stress out too much. If your parameters are all ok then you have nothing to worry about. Where did you place your coral? What type of lighting do you have? I had this problem with my duncan and opened up in a week and a half

The torch above was placed near the mp40 and I would say mid level on LR. I have 2 LED fixtures. 48 LEDs and each is 3w.

The other torch is all the way on the left hand. I wanted to get more torches but will see how this guy does first.

Should I spot feed him today?

Are frogspawn torches? because that looks like a frogspawn to me.

If its a frogspawn... and its next to an mp40... its probably getting too much flow.

It really does look like a frogspawn but I am not sure due to the fact that it hasn't opened fully. If it is a frogspawn, Place it on the sandbed with medium flow. Here is a pic of mine to show you of mine

That's a frogspawn. Flow or light could be an issue IMHO, try moving him to lower light & flow and see if he gets better in a few days. Unless it's really high flow I think they're pretty flexible. But if it's been a week there's prolly something he doesn't like so try different location. Mine is on the bottom in medium flow and seems happy.

My frogspawn shriveled up like that once when I accidentally dropped some salt in the tank. In horror movie-like slow motion I saw the salt drift over to the frogspawn, and he got really upset. Stayed upset for awhile but eventually got over it. Now he's grown 50%. They're pretty hardy.
