Torch Melting...Whyyyyy???

Had the torch for 6 moths, it has 5 heads and 2 of the heads have completely receded into the skeleton in the last 3 days, I use a radion g3 pro, AB+ light schedule with a max intensity of 60%... the torch is located in a moderate to high flow area and moderate light... feed it every other day either mysis or reef roids... moved it in a different position 3 days ago when I saw one head beginning to recede, i thought the flow was too high... there appears to be a thing white film which has developed over the receded heads... not sure what i should do next but please help me save my torch!

Looks like your dkh is a little High. I try to keep mine around 7-8~. Has it always been around 11-12 when the torch was doing good?

Also from my experience torches don't really like high flows.

yeah it always extended really well since i have had it, only recently has it shown any signs of deterioration... hopefully repositioning it like i did will save the other heads... just bummed because it is such a beautiful piece (and i dont wanna spend $$$ to get another...)

Is it possible that its tentacles scraped on the rockwork. Torches have a tendency to do that, which damages the tissue and leads to infections.

Since only 2 heads are affected, im not so sure it would be an alkalinity/water quality issue. I think it would more likely be something like @nereefpat said, where it only affected 2 of the heads. They do like low flow, so some of the heads being in high flow would definitely do that. If you have coral revive or other coral cleansers/dips, you could try dipping it to see if that helps.

UPDATE:

Lost a 3rd head last night unfortunately... based on your comments i took matters into my own hands, removed the coral this morning and used a scalpel to cut off the 3 affected heads and did a coral dip using CoralRX and placed the 2 remaining on a plug, and placed in a low flow area of my frag rack. Going to monitor these 2 which both appear to be healthy with good tentacle extension... keeping my fingers crossed, thanks all for your input!
