torch skelton crushed

I bought a gold torch frag today that was 1 head splitting to two... it was glued to a huge plastic frag plug, so I was going to pop it off the plug.. I don't know if the skeleton was cracked or what but it shattered in my hand... crushed it all the way up to the polyps...

I put some superglue on the cracks the best I could, and put it together at the bottom with some epoxy, but its all jacked up... any chance this thing can heal and live? I am pretty ticked off haha...

I have had "dead" hammer corals some how sprout a head. I'd hang onto to it. Unless it gets brown jelly

I would definitely give it an iodine dip, this will help prevent bacterial infections such as brown jelly disease.

I have had frogspawn Crack in half when fraging and had both half live very surprised considering the polyp and skelton ripped in half. You gluing it should help.

I've done this with a purple torch and a duncan head. Both recovered and continued to grow.

Now this is all making me feel bad.
I had the same thing happen to me, on the same day, no less.
Two headed torch, skeleton broke into 5 different pieces, guts everywhere.
I kept the intact head, and threw the other away because I was scared of brown jelly, and I didn't think I could glue it together.

I've decided to be happy with what I got.

Strange coincidence, though. It was a gold torch, too. I guess the glue is too strong, I've popped of several hammers and never had this happen. I think the seller cut the torch too close to the head.

Wow that's crazy!.. this one is still open and looks ok.. it looks all jacked up and not pretty.. but it's alive so far..

Last time i had a skeleton crumble i just super glued it together
