Torn between tank Ideas

Well, as of late I've been thinking about upgrading from my nanocube 12.

I made a thread in the nano section about a 25 rimless cube I parted together. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1916340

All of this will come out to be in the range of $1000.

Another Option is I could buy the nanocube 28 gallon HQI version, and spend $450 in one shot with a free stand.

I live in an apartment for college, and need to transfer my tank home about once every year and a half.

I'm in love with rimless cubes, and thought that a 25 cube custom build could also be transported somewhat easily.

I've got no responses to my other thread, hopefully this one turns up something.

Hey I'm also in college and I recently swapped out my 75 for a 30. Don't complicate your life and get the 28 gallon nano for $450. You save money, and you get to enjoy the hobby. That's my take on it.

Thanks blen. You make a good point.

The reason I like the HQI model is it has a wavemaker ( that I could still improve) but should allow me to grow about anything I want. I'll appreciate the extra water volume as well. Hopefully I won't have to buy a chiller though ..
