Okay- so I'm pairing my 6" maroon female with a 1.5" that's going to be the male.
The female hasn't actually bit him at all, just rushed him a few times, she's not very aggressive for a maroon. However, my sixline who has been so nice in the past decided that he didn't like this fish in particular, and tore his soft dorsal all the way down the middle.
I'm so upset. I've removed the clown and decided that I won't put him back in the tank until I remove the sixline and put it in time-out (the sump).
He's going to stay in time-out for a couple of days until I'm not mad at him anymore and then maybe he can go in the acclimation box until the female clown accepts the little one.
Will the little clown's soft dorsal heal up? If it won't I'm just going to get rid of the wrasse completely. That's how mad I am, lol. I spent good money on this little misbar, and I didn't spend it for the stupid wrasse to rip him up and make him look like a ragamuffin.
