Thanks a lot broThats one lucky tang if he got away from a haddoni. He should recover if not to damaged from the carpet
Can his skin recover himself?
Purple tang is a very hardy species. Mine has survived worse, I'm sure he will recover. Fish are not dumb Marina, people are. On the reef a tang would rarely come in contact with a carpet anemone. Any tank is relatively tiny so a chance encounter is inevitable.
Your tang is not dumb, it is psychotic.......[emoji3]Oh you do not know this particular tang. He did not get into the anemone by chance, he outlived many in his 15 years. He constantly entices my foxface, who is bigger than him. Finally she has had enough. His choice was to get stung by the foxface and most likely die or brush against the anemone. His injury was his own doing. He got plenty of warnings from the foxface, but he is dumb and a jerk, no doubt about that.
You only say that because you never met my tomato clown. Powder blue is a symbol of sanity compared to her. She was “gifted” to me 10 years ago. She lives to kill tank mates, and now (in solitary) to draw my blood. She is small for a clown, so maybe it is a case of arrested development or a chip on her shoulder, who knows... but she is truly psychotic. And nothing kills her.Your tang is not dumb, it is psychotic.......[emoji3]
