have a question, maybe someone can help or give me idea why.. have 2 Trachyphyllia that dont seem to want to puff up during the day. its been like this for over a month. the first week in the tank they where normal, then after that they refused to puff up. both kind of puts out feeding tentacles at night, but only a little.

my tank is 30 inches and do have radion g4pro running at 85 precent. someone told me too much light, but they are on the bottom.

current tank has arco, monti, hammers, zoas, pectina all growing and doing well. just cant figure out why my trachs arent

alk 7.2
cal 380
mag 1380
nitrates 5ppm
phosphtes .46

its on the bottom of the tank, cant really go much lower, maybe i should take both out and put in my frag tank. you think thats a good idea

I had to place mine in a shaded area.. I also fed mine mysis at night when it would put out its feeding tentacles atleast 2 or 3 times a week to make sure it stayed fed and now I have been able to move it out where I want it at the bottom of the tank and all is well. But if you feel moving it to the frag tank could be better than I would give it a try.as I do that as a last resort if a coral doesn't seem to ever be happy in the DT
