Trachyphyllia ?

I made an impulse buy of this trachyphyllia it came on own cone shape skeleton i read they like soft bottom i have glass bottom will it do ok tucked into rock work ? Please advise Thank you :uhoh3:

Bueatiful coral and you can keep it in the rock. They should be fed mysis or brine often and lower in the aquarium and out of direct flow , so you do not damage the fleshy polyp .they also do not need alot of light.Great corals!!!:wavehand:
 
They prefer lower light, as std above. Put it low on your Reef. Actually, most people keep them on the sandbed. Be careful of their flesh, it tears easily..
And a great many fish like to eat them, unfortunately. They are like crack cocaine to most angels. Tangs and rabbitfish also partake. That is the greatest downside of keeping them IMO.
