I run 4 hydra 26 leds above the tank. Usually run just blue/violet/royal and uv spectrums at 100/100/100 and 80% (started much lower and gradually increased) but turn up whites to take photos and on weekends because my wife likes viewing with white lights on. This was shot w whites up.
I think ive let this chalice fall on 6 different corals and it heals up within weeks and trucks on. Broken this up countless times for friends. Truly a bulletproof coral.
I bought this piece at a frag show last November and ever since I see it for sale everywhere. It doesn't seem to mind being vertical after falling into the corner of my tank.
I had this coral years ago and pulled the rock out and scraped everything off it. Months later it came back and I had to pull the rock again. Although this is an LPS, it must be a close relative to green star polyps.
