Agu, I was looking for hard wood but of course Lumber liquidators was out of stock of the .99 per SF flooring I wanted to use, so now it is getting too expensive, have you got a good suggestion?
Hey Greg, it's all coming together very nicely. I will have some free time tomorrow and tuesday if you want me to buff out the tank for you, or if there is any other miscellaneous tasks left. Just give me a call!
Andrew
I had a few undocumented reefers come by and help me with the tile job.
Considering my knee and that it hurt for 3 days after scraping the old vinyl up, I was not going to be getting up and down on my knees. I got the job of tile cutter, besides it’s my saw.
First I laid out the tile to get the layout of the inlay right and determine how to get the least amounts of cuts, hey it’s my saw and I want to save wear and tear on it.
The guys showed up and we snapped some lines down and they started laying tile and I made the cuts as they needed them. I thought it would be easy but when you have professionals putting it down its hard to get a break from the wet saw.
Nate, the stand is coming a long nicely I'm in the stain and finish mode. I could use some help putting a second coat on the inside, glue on the final pieces of trim, sand and stain and then a coat of poly, so stop by Ill put you to work
Agu, I thought of shifting it left 1/4 tile before it went down but then I would have a 1/4 tile at one wall and that would look funny. Now its full tiles 9 X 15.

Greg,
Great job with the room. Amazing how far it has come along. Tile looks good. Question when the tank is in place is it going to cover up any on the inlay? I know it does not matter just wondering?
Mike,
Yes, the stand is 33 inches deep and the edge of the inlay is is at 24 from the archway. Unless I slide it in and back it will cover about 4 foot of it. I'm pretty sure that I want it under the archway, well see if it fits then decide.
