Trade, Live sand for dead sand :)

I posted this on my getting out thread, but I wanted to also make this availbale for everyone:
have aprox 56 lbs of live coral sand (i think), or it is aragonite, but not sure...either way I'm looking to see if anyone has dry
Aragonite sand they want to trade since i'm trying to set up an cichlid tank to keep me going until the day I set up another reef.

I just dont want to kill all of the organisms that have taken so long to develop in my very established sandbed. and use it for fresh water....

The live sand will also come with several hermit crabs, and snails...and snailshells for hermits, please let me know...
I'm also looking for nice lime rock to use for decoration on the Malawian Cichlid tank...

by the way, I came up with the amount of sand available by using the sand calculator on the first page, 3" sandbed on a 30"x12" tank. I hope I did it right.

I'm looking to get about a 1.5" sandbed.

ok ,cool. do you know how much the sand I need costs? maybe he can get that, and get my live stuff...who knows.

I was looking and it looks like crushed coral sand wil work too

I want the sand. Let me do some checking and I'll let you know what it will cost for the sand you are looking for, and I can buy you the sand or give you the cash. I know you had some live rock in your tank does it have a home yet?

I really apperciate this John, let me know...I will continue to run the filters and powerheads to ensure that the sand remains live and hermits and snails do not suffer...everything else is gone so tonight the lights were unpluged.

I am thinking you need about 30#, and Your Reef sells it for $0.99 a pound. I can give you $30 or I can pick up 30# next time I am over there. If I pick it up how fine do you want it?

id say not powder fine but maybe a tad bit bigger than reef sand...I live about 5 minutes away form John's store so either way is fine, just let me know when you are planning on stopping by so I know when to start dropping the water levels a begin to scoop sand (that'll take some time I'm also available tomorrow after 4 pm. let me know
