My girlfriend...she went out to surprise me the other day and buy me a nice heater that she read about. She got me a stealth. Very nice heater, but she went with the philosophy that bigger is better. She bought me a 200W heater...for my NANO tank. the thing wont fit.
No prob i hug and kiss her and tell her she is awesome, then politely tell her the heater is too big. "No problem" I tell her and have her give me the receipt. I go to Scotts pet shop with it to EXCHANGE the heater. Wont let me. "The receipt needs to be itemized". she bought other things and the total of the heater doesnt match the total on the receipt and we dont know where the itemized receipt is. Nevermind that the tag on the box says "Scott's Petshop 39.99" and that the box is clearly unopened. They wont do it.
This is two strikes in almost as many days for Scotts petshop. They are lucky my girlfriend was there to stop me from making a scene. i am good upstanding guy. I work 80 hours a week and pay 50,000 a year to do it. I was on call the night before and could not fathom the situation...she made me leave and i thank her for it.
Anyway, i digress...
Please will anyone trade me a decent 50W heater for a stealth 200W? What would be the BEST is if someone went and bought a stealth 50W and traded me straight up for the 200W they would save 15dollars (the50 W is 25 at petsmart and 200 is 40) and i would be able to tell my girlfriend it will all be ok. And i would give whoever it is a big hug. Something good has to come from this scotts petshop thing...i believe in Karma.
one thing forsure i will never go there again.
