Training sps polyp extension

Ok don't laugh too hard!!
My problem is that all of my corals polyp out big time at night after lights out!
I feed my tank at that time and everything is awesome. During the day I don't get the same great polyp extension.
Would feeding in the day help or should I just stay with my current feeding?

You have any fish that nip at the corals during the day? That can hinder PE.
Are these wild caught SPS?

Fish aren't the problem. Have both wild and aqua cultured Ultimate, jbutler ora.

I have the same problem, but I still get good PE throughout the day. I would say there is little you can do to reverse it; kind of like LPS, you can't get an acan to extend it's feeders 24/7.

I know you say it's not the fish nipping, what fish do you have? It takes only a nip once a day for the acro's to keep from extending polyps.

Dan, Feeders and Sweepers are two different things, Acan Lords have feeders not sweepers. And yes mine look just like the pic you posted except my polyps are puffed up much more.
