transformer upgrade

You need part 7410.602. You can order from Tunze.com and it ships from TX, or some dealers stock them as well. I believe supplies on these are starting to get limited as are not in production any longer

hello,

I'd like to get the larger transformer for my 6100

how can I do it?

Thanks,

Adam

You mean the 6200 transformer? If so, you will need to replace the impeller as well. Not sure if the motor block is the same but i know the 6200 impeller is larger and you may need a new shroud to increase the flow...

How are you doing Shawn... It has been a long time since i post in the forum... Work and family kicking my behind lol..

Hey Steve. Things are well, moved late summer and work at my full time job has been extra busy as well the past few months... good to have you back!

Well back to our regular scheduled programming.....

Do you have a 6000 you want to upgrade to a 6100 or a 6100 you were hoping would be upgradable to a 6200?

Please let us know which upgrade you are trying to do, upgrading to a 6200 is not cost effective.

sorry for the confusion. i recently bought another stream. The pump is the 6100 but with the smaller transformer. I would like to get the larger one that basicly makes it a 6100.
I could swear I did this about three years ago with my first pair and it was like 20.00 a piece for the transformers straight from you guys. Am I way off on that one? I cant remember.

anyway hope that clarifies my request.

Thanks,
Adam

6100 transformer cost around $75.00 each... You can get it from Tunze.com. The small transformer you are getting right now is the 6000 transformer which produce less flow...

Yes, you have a 6000 and the 7410.602 transformer upgrades it to a 6100, they are about $82 now, but the cheapest they ever were was about $72 and that was 6 years ago, the Euro wasn't as strong then. I may have had some used ones at some point but even then I usually sell them for $40 if they are in good shape.

ok not sure where I got the number. It was a while ago.

have you got any used ones by and chance?
otherwise I'll try premium perhaps they are pretty close to me.

thanks alot,

Adam

No but I do have an overstock of the 6200.800 transformer which will accomplish the same end result. The 7410.602 and 6200.800 are both 19V transformers but the 7410.602 is 60W and the 6200.800 is 80W, there will be no difference except the 6200.800 can deliver more power which won't be needed. I had a mistake on an order years ago and have 20 of these in stock and I don't think we will ever go through them so I am clearing them out at $40 each.
