------------------------Transformers----------------------------------

i must agree... AWESOME MOVIE! my favorite part was during the first chase between the cop car and bumblebee (i hope thats its name) and when the cop car transforms from the bot into the car into the chase... sick...

That action sequence between Bumblebee and Barricade was pretty good. Along with Optimus decapitating Bonecrusher.

As a pure action film, It doesn't get much better than that. The special effects were great, but Bay overdoes it with his shaky camera angles and sunlight beams. I also couldn't tell the difference between Starscream and Megatron through all the fight sequences.

As a TF fan growing up, so much more could have been done through this movie. A thicker plot and some character development (mainly for the robots) would have done wonders. For action movies, Bay is perfect. For an actually good movie, you won't get that from him. His attempt at humor is more laughable than the humor itself. Take Tuturro's character. Of course the military would deny S7's existence if he was one of their head officers.

Why the **** is Optimus Prime tiptoeing around a house trying to avoid being seen by Sam's parents, like some kid helping a buddy snag some booze from his old man's liquor cabinet. Very un-Autobot-leader-like! What a waste of 15 minutes!

It's an entertaining film. I'd like to see a different director with a much better script for the next one.

I love the f-22s scene where starscream transformed back and forth and took them out one by one. That was awsome, can't for the sequel if there is one.

Perfect summer popocorn movie - nothing but mindless and relentless action. Awesome CGI, though I wonder if all the added detail was wasted on Bay's quick cuts.

Any more robot character development would have killed the movie. For some reason, filmmakers feel it necessary to go over the top when fleshing out non-human character characters in an effort to humanizing them and the film. For instance, did the one autobot have to talk like a brother? If you encourage characterization, you’re just asking for trouble ala the Ewoks, Jar Jar Binks, etc.

Keep it simple with hot chicks, cool cars, robots and plenty of things blowing up.

I bet there's going to be a sequel. Starscream going back into space??? Plus, they dumped the deceptacons in the middle of the ocean??? Anyone remember where the base for the deceptacons were? I can't wait for the dinobots to be shown along with the constructacons!!! That'll be awesome!

some one please tell me what was up with that mystery trailer at the beginning is it godzilla 2 ??????

Yup, that's what the speculation is - NYC, guy's about to go off to Japan, giant monster noises with requisite fireball...

I hope not cause Godzilla was'nt too good.

The trailer looked pretty crazy, I hope they dont ruin by making this into godzila 2, cmon someone out there should have the scoop
