ok after my tank is cycled how the heck do i transport the mantis from aquatouch? wont it break the bag?

depends on the mantis, when I got my spearer they triple bagged it and had some newspaper around the bottom to keep it calm. And I tried my best to not disturb it to much on the trip home. Though there was one hole made in the inside bag the 2 outside bags were fine.

When I bought my peacock mantis, they bagged it with a black bag (so it couldn't see/be disturbed), then they put 2 more bags around that. I put the bagged mantis into a small styro cooler--then had to listen to her "thump, thump, thWACK!" all the way home! She did fine though.

An aside: when I had to catch my mantis (was relocating her tank), I put a piece of 2" pvc with a cap on one end into the tank then removed the LR one by one. She took refuge in the pvc and I was then able to move her into the bucket w/o either one of us getting hurt.

While i was looking for mine, i kept a small cooler in the trunk no matter where we went.
