I'm about a day away of dosing my tank for flatworms with FW exit but still unsure on if it will kill my snails or harm my corals. Here's the deal. I have lots of softies, a frogspawn, fiji leather, and a monti frag. I dont have the red flatworms but they are just the one's that are your typical light brow flatworm that go on your glass, I'm not having any probs with them but what should i do?

I wouldn’t recommend dosing a chemical that could harm the reef if the target's biggest offence is living. No harm, no foul.

Salifert Flatworm Exit. Used it personally with no problems or deaths of anything. I used 3x the recommended dose also. HTH

At one time I had a large amount of the red/brown flatworms. Over about 2 years the numbers peaked then numbers started to fall till they were all gone. I havent seen one FW in months. I never added any fish or anything that would eat them. Time may be all that is needed.

I've had the tank up for a couple yrs now and all of a suggen in the last month there here. I think i got some from a fellow reefers tank when i got a couple frags. I guess as long as there not harming anything i'll let em be, but as soon as i see them on my corals.....the salifert exit is going to be used. Thanks everyone
