1. Red Bugs on SPS and Parasites that seem to come in on Aussie LPS
2. Local Vet -- if you can convince them. It is a dog/cat med
3. Large tab treats 380g. Ive done gross overdosing with no ill affects.
4. Crush up into some FW and either soak the coral for 6+ hrs or treat the whole system - turn skimmer off for 24 hrs - you may loose shrimp, crabs, pods
5. $20 for 3 tabs from my local vet

I have 3 Flame Shrimp and Scarlets I care about... As well as 2 banded!
and 2 Lobsters etc...!
You would not want to put it in the tank, unless you have A LOT of Aussie corals, and some sort of problem.
I think he meant when you "dip" the Aussie LPS, follow it with 8-12 hours in the interceptor bath.

I would do a 6+ hour soak but depending on how many corals are affected, I would treat the tank. I did to make sure no more remained in the tank that would simply re-infect the coral when placed back in!

You don't mention a problem you have or how bad it is. If more than one piece is affected or if the affected piece(s) are difficult to remove, I suggest QTing your shrimp and crabs and then treating the whole tank.
I had red bugs and treated my whole tank. I put all my crabs and shrimp in my QT tank for a couple weeks while I followed the treatment guidelines (3 treatments a week apart). No more red bugs.

OK, how do I know I have red bugs?
I have a microscope and I checked the corals, My SPS are bleaching but no bugs or worms are on them
I dipped them in ReVive and another iodine based dip, the only things that came out dead were Pods!
There was one weird looking pod with red eyes that I found... But that was it! No flat worms that I could see or find in the microscope!
As for SPS, I do not have a lot, a few frags, and 2 large pieces. One Birds Nest and another I forget the name of.

I 1st had an encrusted Monti bleach out completely, then I had my large 2 other SPSs almost 90% bleached now.
I know this belongs in the SPS forum I guess.
