any difference?

just 1/4 tsp of Ca Ascorbate a day. Compared to seeing at least 3 or more starfish on this zoo.. i only spotted one since dosing!

AeroD79. does pictures are awesome. thanks for taking the time to take them. how are your SPS doing? any change in polyp extension?

SPS are not very noticeable. Real results for their color and growth will be a while. =/

My Vit C supplementation is intended for my zoos.

it also seems like the anti oxidation power of the C is making the water so clear that colors just seems to pop. no wonder they call it the poor mans ozone!

For those dosing vitamin C, is it pure vitamin C ascorbate? the vitamin C ascorbate I have in the house has stuff like calcium stearate and other stuff, not sure whether that would be OK.

Ummm... YEAH! What do you think?

Hmm The 1st photo is much different than the 2nd and 3rd ones.

Different angles?

On the first photo there is patches with no zoos on the rock, how in 4 days could all those patches be full?

sodium ascorbate or calcium ascorbate work best. if you decide to use regular vitamin C which is ascorbic acid it will mess with your alkalinity.

jeni did you start using the sodium ascorbate yet?

Can't say I've noticed that either.

I've been using the Socium ascorbate for about a week now. My skimmer still goes nuts, which I really don't mind, since I don't have to do a mod on it now.

Hi,
I am new to zoas so the ? I have is I dont have a sump hooked up could I just take a tab of Vitamin C and put it in on my hob skimmer thanks,

I mix mine with a quarter cup of tank water and put it back into the display while the feed timer on my controller is on. That way it circulates throughout the tank for 15 minutes until the return pump comes back on.

One week and no casualties.

All photos are from about the same angle..

The rock had tipped over. Causing it to appear differently from 1st to 2nd. I indicated this in my post at page 25

Only difference from 1st to 2nd is the polyps are more plumped.

But I did not include..this
How does the 2nd to 3rd pic look?
