Tri-color browning

Have a tricolor that is brown on the stalks but has greenish polyps. All of my conditions are fine. Are these corals happy under 400 watt 230k's. I have it about 8 inches below the surface and surface to light box is another 14 inches.

What are your phosphate and nitrate levels? Your lights should be fine …

Mine was turning brown because it was getting too much shade frome another coral. It's always looked best midway in the tank directly under 400w MH's.
