Tricks to weaning Bangaii off of NHBS

Seriously?
Hi all, I have had one baby survive from my latest hatch. It is now 5 weeks old. For the life of me there must be a trick to getting it to take some shredded Mysis, but I don't know what that is. Could I hear a few tips that I may employ to get him weaned? I have read some posts and from what I read, it looks like it would be a piece of cake. I have to be missing something. Thanks for any help.

I've been mixing in frozen bbs with the live brine each feed. I've found that they get into a feeding frenzy after a while and start eating the frozen bbs.

Also I feed prepared foods first at the start of the day and nhbbs at the end of the day. Water movement seems like it helps a lot, I always feed the nhbbs from a tube and use the same tube to feed everything. My bangers are at the point that when they see the airline tube they know foods on the way and they bite anything that comes out of it.

I think if you can get them to bite the food then your on the way to getting them to actually eat it, its just a matter of time.

I also find that if I dump too much food at once they just leave all of it, try shooting some of the prepared food past them at a bit of pace but only try one piece at a time. They always chase it but if i just drop food in and let it sink they just watch it go past them.
