hi, I do not know if I write in the just forum, next I will come to Chicago I wished to have indications of some store very supplied of crocea, derasa, squamosa tridacnie in order to make purchases before returning in Italy thanks

I don't shop the stores in the city too often other than Reef Dweller which is 5858 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. He does carry clams, but I'm not sure if he has any in stock right now. If you are able to drive to the suburbs there are a number of stores that carry clams at reasonable prices. Are you going to be able to get the clams through customs?

thanks for the address
I have found also the internet site but it does not seem to have tridacnie.
I have the possibility to drive on the suburbs, are necessary special permissions in order to acquire in these shop, to which prices ca.

thanks

you dont need permission to buy them anywhere in the US. but i dont think you will be able to leave the US with them.

Reef Dweller doesn't show everything he has in his store on the website. He mainly sells sps online. If you can go to the suburbs I have listed a couple stores that have clams. There are many other Reef stores in the Chicago area that carry clams, but these are just a few I know sell them at good prices. If you want more information on Chicago area stores go to the reef club forum and look up Chicago Marine Aquarium Society. We have a list of most of the stores in the Chicago area.

I have not think at this question, thanks
but I can declares them?

i think you will need to do more then just declare them. you will need a permit. you will need to find out from the Department of Fish And Wildlife what you will need to leave the US with them and also what you will need to bring them into Italy
