I'm learning the hardest part about this hobby is self control on what you want to have vs. what is wise to have.
I'm narrowing down what types of species I will eventually like to have in my 120 gallon mixed reef. I would expect to add these gradually over time, and would like some help with suggestions on another medium fish that may go well with those that I am planning to get.
I know to introduce it last, but the main fish I really want to have is either a blue throat or red tail trigger and feel confident he'll do fine in a 120. We'd like to also have two ocellaris clowns, a watchman goby, and perhaps a wrasse species, but maybe a few anthias instead. So far everyone I've asked thinks that's not a bad mix for a 120.
Here's where I need help: I'd like to add another medium fish to the mix and have been looking at the white bristle tooth tang. I've also been told a purple tang would be a good choice. What about...both? Or am I pushing it at that point with two tangs and a trigger? If I eliminated some of my other choices to make room would it work?
