I dont have the emerald, but i do have the tideline 48 and it is very very nice. Smooth rounded edges, perfect seems, and best of all plenty of space.

I've been looking at reviews and they all seem positive. Just haven't seen many set-up

I have the ruby 30 waiting for the build to commence and it looks great. Only reason I went withthe ruby as opposed to the emerald was the emerald did not have an elite version with the seperate refugium whereas the ruby did.

I have the ruby elite. I've never had an issue with mine. Only thing I had to do was modify the skimmer section baffle to make it an inch deeper.

I have the Ruby Elite 36 gal. set up and it is well thought out and very nicely made.I am running an external skimmer to free up a bit of space for some extra pumps.I have the return from the skimmer going into the refugium with a sock to stop the bubbles.Obviously too much flow for what the refugium should have however I am growing a tidal wave of macro algae in there.
