Trigger System Skimmers

Greetings Jeremy, or whomever at Premium,

I think I'm ready for a skimmer upgrade, I have a heavily stocked 240 FOWLR with an Aqua C EV 240 with Mag 18. I'm thinking I can do better. I have limited sump space, about 12 x 15 x 28high, and I really like the compact design of the new Titan. I know it's fairly new, and they are a small company, but I would love to get some sort of feedback on it, can't find anyone that has tried it out.

Do you think this would be a good skimmer for me to upgrade to? I certainly want something that noticeably outdoes my current skimmer.

I like the reputation of ATI, but it looks like the new 250 might be a bit too large, but info on it is pretty vague. I'm thinking the 200 wouldn't be an upgrade over my Aqua C.

Any help is appreciated.

I have used the Bursa, and was very impressed with it. The build quality is excellent, noise is very low, if any at all really, and the new Sicce pumps seem to work very well.

In my opinion, once you get to a well designed, efficient skimmer, that is not a lot of differences between them as long as it's sized appropriately for your system. For example, I don't think you would see much difference in performance at all between the Titan and Powercone 250.

Well, the fact that the skimmer went on sale this weekend must be a sign....Just placed my order for the Titan and some dried food. I think in principle it's a great design, if it works out that way, I will brag about it all over Reef Central and maybe Trigger Systems and P.A. will get a few more sales on it.:thumbsup:
