Sorry for your lost. Glad you gave it every chance you got. I remember my tomato clown had the exact same skin condition as your trig. I had it in a mix reef with it's smaller male counterpart.
I thought it was brook or something similiar. I didnt get tbe clown out and thankfully and it went away on it's own. It never spread to it's partner or any other fish.
