Trim/moulding

I'm looking to frame my 300 gallon inwall tank. Was hoping I could get some suggestions/pictures of moulding used. I've looked at base board (press board material) but it seems flimsy, especially since I have front panel access and would be lifting it up to get into the tank. Is wood better? Thanks for any assistance

I purchased prefinished cabinet trim (crown and cove moulding) from Lowe's and fashioned a "picture frame" around the tank. By going to the kitchen cabinet department I had a wide selection of trims and finishes.

I used (and very much like) the faux stone ledgers, corners, and columns from textureplus.com

If you are trying to match it up with the rest of the house, you might want to use the same trim that is used around your windows and doors.

I have a couple tanks (inwall) that I have had in the past. Just my opinion, but I would HIGHLY recommend to have front access for it will make your workload much less.
