Trimming Xenia?

Anoter wat to keep it in check is to "plant" shrooms around it. The two do not get along well, and the xenia will not spread. But, then you have the problem of the shrooms overgrowing...

I would trim with a pair of scissors. Be sure to net them out so they don't clog your filtration!
