Trip to IL... Premium Aquatics!!!

So Ashley and I are going up to IL... Joy... We're going up because she's a bride's maid for one of her future bride's maids... Oh and Ashley's parents are throwing us an engagement party... Anyways, on the way back, I'm thinking I'll stop at Premium Aquatics in Indianapolis... I spoke to Jay and all I have to do is make an appointment by the end of the week... So I figured I'd let you guys know... Think about if you want anything... I can pick it up and save you shipping... He said just to make a note that you're a part of the East Tennessee Reef Club and that it will be local pick up... And if you could let me know you're planning on placing an order, that might help too!!! I'll know for sure if I'm going in the next couple of days... And I'll be driving through on Tuesday June 27th... One week from today... So be sure to have your order in before then...

Thanks for taking my phone call earlier, and thanks for picking up my PA order! My order is placed and should be all set.

I worked with Jay directly, and he's aware you'll be picking things up, and he said he would wrap everything in tied-off plastic bags so it would be good to go in the back of your truck even if it rains (apparently they have large plastic bags that they normally use for live rock). Please just double check that they really wrapped everything in sealed plastic bags and everything should be all set!

If you are getting back into Oak Ridge on Tuesday, please just give me a call when you get into town. I work in Oak Ridge so I'll probably just stay at work until you get back and then, if you don't mind, swing by and pick up the stuff on my way home. I have a friend enlisted to help me out.

Well, all, I'm back from IL!!!

Sorry Dave for not getting back with you I didn't really have access to the internet...

Donny, I've got your order, bring it to next meeting or do you want to pick it up???

Its a good thing the rest of you didn't put in an order because Brad about bought out the store... lol I had my truck bed loaded down with his boxes... And most of you know the size of my truck... But Brad seems really nice, just came by to pick up his stuff and is excited about getting back into reefing and joining the club!!!

Anyhoot, glad to be back... We have the flowers and cake picked out for the wedding and we took our engagement photos... Saw the country club where we're having our reception... And met the rest of the future in-laws... Busy long weekend!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Randy! I picked up my gigantic order at his house this afternoon and everything looks great. I have to admit, once I got all of those boxes hauled into my dining room, my first thought was how in the freaking world is all of this stuff going to fit in and under my tank!?!?

Anyway, it was one of those things that doesn't happen to me very often. I've been saving up my pennies to start another tank, and when I sat down with my wife to work out the final budget, she said you know, I really don't like it when you get something and then shortly thereafter you want to upgrade it to something else, so why don't you just go ahead and order whatever it is you really want. Well, I may not know everything about being married, but when your spouse makes that kind of offer, you'd better take it and run with it before they change their mind - so that's what I did. Now I'm just waiting for my custom order tank from Oceanic to come in so I can start getting things set up.

So thanks again, Randy. It was so nice of you to offer to pick up orders for people from PA. Thanks also for letting me see your reef tanks. I think they both look great! And I hope to meet the rest of you soon at a club meeting.
