Trip to the Chattanooga Aquarium

So we have scheduled our trip to the Chattanooga Aquarium for April 5... The club will be paying for Admission for members... Spouses, significant others, and children will have to come out of your own pockets... If we have 10 or more spouses/children we will be able to get a group rate...

Aquarium $17.95 adult / $ 11.95 child
Regular $19.95 and $12.95

We need to call in ahead of time and make reservations in order to get these discounts...

We will also be doing the behind the scenes tour for those interested...

Behind-the-scenes tour tickets may be added to your Aquarium admission ticket. Price is $15 per person. Member tickets may be purchased for $12 per person. Groups of 10 or more are $13 per person. Tour participants meet at the Members Entrance of River Journey at 2:30 p.m. and the tour begins at 3 p.m. Please be aware that space is limited for behind-the-scenes tours

I told Patrick about it... But since we are still up in the are still up in the air about it, I haven't actively pursued it...

If there isn't enough interest in this date, but there is in another, we may change the day we go down...

Now I'm not even sure if there's much interest in even going... This thread has been going for over a month now...

I'm pretty surprised and disappointed by this since overwhelming interest was shown when we first brought this up in November...

Kim~ We may very well end up rescheduling... I'm not sure that it is worthwhile if only 6 of us end up going... As I said, there are so far only 9 of us interested in going, and if that holds true, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out between us when we could all meet up and go...

I have everyone's number, so if there aren't many more responses, I'll just start making phone calls...

I am up in the air. The only reason is my wife was able to arrange for the freshman class to go on March 31. I can get tickets for the aquarium and the IMAX for $9 plus I would not have to drive. If things change I will be going.

So seriously...I'm going out of town three weekends in a row and that would make four. I know it's only a day trip...but STILL. If we could reschedule, I'd be MUCH more inclined to go.

I just checked and we can still book the Behind the Scenes Tour with only 6 people... We needed 10 in order to receive the group discount rate... So it will cost us $15 instead of $13 per person...

I'm going to call this in Wednesday...

So, Turkey Creek Panera at 10am??? Or earlier??? The Tour starts at 3pm, unless Donny can get ahold of the Curator... Then that would be when he's available...

Do you guys want to do the IMAX???

Take a trip to 5th Day or Bermuda Triangle afterward???
