edit: ok...here's where I stand...I'm doing a 5K at 8am and I've got to be at this thing called the "Knee Draggers Ball" at 4:30 pm that night.

I just don't see how it's possible for me to go.

No possibility of pushing it back til next weekend, huh? Then again...I'm supposed to run a 5K with some people from the lab next Saturday too. I know...I know...I suck.

Ok, so now...not only can't I go but now I can't even run my 5K. I just got reminded that I agreed to participate in this "Teacher Excellence Session" in which we help show high school teachers possible experiments they could do with their students, to better the student's education. dangit. It's actually a really important thing that I agreed to do many months ago.

I got the reminder this afternoon. I'm so sorry I can't go. I totally want to, but this thing is from 8:45 - 1:30 or so.
