Increase your flow to where it should be, by cleaning your powerheads, stream pumps, waveboxes!

After I cleaned my Tunze the flow was outrageous!

I just completely disassembled and cleaned my today. big difference in flow. the manual actually says to do this monthly but i never have before.

every other week i take a tooth brush to my powerheads, so that they stay clear of crap. this way i maintain the coraline on them

+1, every 2 or 3 days i'll scrub mine with a tooth brush...mainly cause i have a small tank and don't have much to do, but there's always some detritus in there.

This was my annual cleaning. I'm gonna try and clean em every couple of months.

I clean every 3 weeks, soak in warm water and then tooth brush them.

Ck'ing out the flow in my tank... its crazy!!!! Frags are being pulled off the frag rack 3 feet away from the pump!
