Trochus snails

Where are these snails collected? I have seen tank-raised specimens that do quite well in reef tanks with temperatures over 80. I don't want to "cook" them in my tank.

Brian D,

Thank you for your reply. The Banded Trochus snails are wild caught and collected in the Indo-Pacific. We recommend keeping them at a temperature of 72-78°F. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any further questions on this fantastic addition to your aquarium.

I'm not totally sure, but at least 3 months. I only have on left now due to a malfunctioning RO unit. But the one thats left is holding up very well, despite the murderous hermit crab that's killed all my astreas. I plan on getting more in a few weeks.
