How is it on sand-shifters being 2mm?

Is it back in stock??

Hi Jim,

This substrate works perfect for sand sifters. I wouldn't recommend going to the Reefflake though.

The USDA took the shipment out of customs and is currently doing an inspection on the shipment. Once it gets passed it should be back in here within just a few days.

I am also looking to get about 60lbs of Tropic Eden (30lbs of Reeflakes and 30lbs of Minireeflakes). Can the flat rate salt shipping apply to these items? How long do you think you will have them in stock for shipping?

I'm hoping the USDA releases the shipment any day now. I won't have a definite date until release though. The salt deal doesn't apply to these unfortunately, however we can ship 1 bag per each USPS flat rate box for $12.95.

With typical SPS type of flow, do you think the miniflakes will be blow / moved around? Or will they be heavy enough to stay put?

For the $12.95 per bag deal shipping, you mean 2 bags will be 12.95 x 2?

It would be $12.95 per bag, anywhere in the US, using the USPS flat rate boxes.

I think at first the Miniflake will blow around quite a bit, however once it gets weighted down with bacteria and matures in the tank for a month or two it should be just fine. Remember, 5-6yrs we all ran sugar fine sand 4"-6" deep in our sps tanks with high flow!

You guys just shipped out 4 bags of Tropic Eden aragasnow (30 lbs. each bag) and charged me $69.56 for shipping. I thought this was pretty outrageous for shipping (not your fault) but trusted that you would find the cheapest way possible to get this to me, especially since I am in 1 day ground shipping distance. Why wasn't I offered this $12.95 per bag option? It would have saved me almost $20.

Just for the heck of it I priced out shipping for 4 x 30 lb. bags of sand from another forum sponsor and was quoted $56.99 for ground shipping from CA to OH. Why would it cost more to ship from IN to OH which is only 1 state away?

Can you tell me when did you place your order? I ordered on the same day Jeremy said the sand has cleared custom but until now I still haven't receive my tracking number and I was told they have not receive the sand yet. How did you get your sand so quick? Or you just order by haven't received them yet?

This is my fault, I apologize! I had the order on hold and to be packaged up and cost calculated, but it went on out anyways. My shipping guys didn't see the hold on it, I apologize. I will get you refunded the difference between the flat rate boxes and the UPS Ground shipping.
