Tropic Eden Miniflakes

The sand did indeed clear customs and USDA inspection. We are now waiting on the trucking company to drop it off. The last we heard it was in Chicago last Friday, and they had called us for a dropoff notice. We expected to see it on Tues / Wed, however it has not shown up yet. We should be getting it any day though. Unfortunately the trucking companies do not work like UPS or FedEx, where they have guaranteed delivery times into certain zones, etc. I apologize for the wait on it.

If the sand had cleared customs and USDA, it's a good sign.

I am just a little surprise that since you haven't received the sand yet, how can you ship anything out to uhuru? I literally ordered within minutes you said you are expecting them and since I only need 60lb or so, I thought I would be on the front runner to get them first but obviously that's not the case here?

This is my fault, I apologize! I had the order on hold and to be packaged up and cost calculated, but it went on out anyways. My shipping guys didn't see the hold on it, I apologize. I will get you refunded the difference between the flat rate boxes and the UPS Ground shipping.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Okay Jeremy I appreciate that.

Uhuru purchased the aragasnow which was in stock I believe. The reef flake and mini flake is what is completely out of stock.

Great news. Thx Jeremy.

Can you PM me the price difference if I want to upgrade to a faster shipping method? Thx!

Jeremy,
Has my order ship out yet? I haven't receive a tracking number so I assume it has not? I have sent PM and email but none of them are returned. Can you provide an update?

Thx!

Sorry, I have not been on RC yet today. I sent you a PM, but never got a returned one. Also, I have not seen any email come through, which email addy did you send it to?

All of the sand was checked into our system late last night, which means all backorders were kicked out then. Priority Mail orders take one extra day to ship out, so this will leave our facility for you on Monday.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Luke had to take yesterday and today off, which is why you hadn't heard back, I apologize. We will forward the tracking number over once it ships.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I'm hoping the USDA releases the shipment any day now. I won't have a definite date until release though. The salt deal doesn't apply to these unfortunately, however we can ship 1 bag per each USPS flat rate box for $12.95.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I had 9 bags on the order I just put in but cancelled them when I was quoted $165 for freight shipping as the cheapest option. However, $116.55 seems quite a bit cheaper to me. Am I missing something?

The cheapest UPS Ground rate is what you were quoted it sounds like. We can "take advantage of the system" a little bit with USPS, as we can get a 30lb bag of Tropic Eden sand in a flat rate USPS Priority Mail box which is $12.95 per bag, that's where the difference is coming in at.

Thanks Jeremy,

$50 makes a big difference. I'd like to put the sand back on my order if I can get the $12.95 rate

Hi Jeremy,

Do we have to call in our orders for the substrate if we wish to receive the USPS flat rate shipping price or is there on option on your websites checkout process?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,

There will not be a drop-down option for the USPS Flat rate on the website. When ordering just local pickup, and please note in the special in structions / comments box that you would like for this to ship out via USPS Flat Rate shipping for each bag.

Thanks,
Jeremy
