That time frame is still accurate, however I do not know the exact date the ocean freighter will be arriving in port. From there they have to clear customs and then be railed and then trucked to our location. Once I have a more firm date I'll update it here.

For what it's worth, I'm extremely happy with my miniflakes, and they aren't blowing around even with ~7k GPH and a 1.5" wave in my 120. If people prefer the look of the reef flakes, that's a different story, but the miniflakes are definitely large enough to not get blown around.

Thanks for info. With the miniflakes, are all the grains of sand around 2MM?

I know with my caribsea they all vary.

They do vary a little in size, but not much. Tropic Eden sand is pretty consistent in grain size.

I am building a 40 gallon breeder and will be going SPS with a strong flow. Which kind of Reef Fakes should I use?

The regular Reefflakes are the most popular, however the Miniflakes are in stock and would be just fine in there as well.
