tropic marin how much salt per gallon

I use the regular TM salt and find that 1/2 per gallon is not giving me anywhere near 1.026. How much do you guys use to reach the 1.025-1.026?

i just did this exact thing- i made 20 gallon of water for water change and with that dosage it resulted in SPG of 1.020.... i just added another 1.5 cups of TM to the 20 gal... Ill let you know how it turns out

I mix 5 gal (well whatever volume the line in the homer bucket is) and I'm using nearly 3 cups to get to 1.025

Aren't all or most salt manufactuers require 1/2cup per 1 gallon?
