Let's see what Mitch comes back with... He did say all of the pieces would be largish in size, and judging from the rock, I would expect something for $30 that you would pay $60 to $80 for in a LFS, and possibly higher.

Shipping will be about $50 dollars total, and quite possibly less. They shipped me 79 pounds of rock for $61 I believe it was, and I don't believe that the corals would be higher. And god forbid, if we did have some DOA's, it would be my belief that Mitch will make good on them as soon as he can....

We just need to decide. I like the Fiji acros... Anyone else have an opinion?

I got an email from Mitch, a very good guy by the way. The Fiji is figured @ $35 a head. There will be some small and some large, and hopefully that would all even out in the wash, as $35 is for the medium pieces.

Depends on the number of people though in on this. With a 24 piece minimum, that comes to $840 by my counting. Sort of steep for me at the moment.

I truly believe that they'd be huge frags compared to what is usually available, but right now I cannot afford 25% of that order, or eve a 20% stake for that matter.

You money guys should get with Nook, and do this. I will most likely be jealous that I did not go in on this, I just can't afford that. I need a Ca reactor more than more corals at the moment.
 
Sounds good to me but I cant get to many that way. We would need to get more people involved and then the issue is who gets what when it gets here because its a grab bag type deal. Kinda dicey in a group buy I would think.

I could swing 2@$35 maybe three, would have to check.

This would be the fastest cheapest way to kick start a large tank I would think. This site has been bookmarked for use in the next decade.

Jeff, If you are looking for only Acros in the frag pack that is fine. Most the time if the frag pack is SPS we put a huge mixture of Frags. At your request we can put only Acropora in their. Take care. Sincerely, Kris Wray
 
$10 box charge and ridiculusly expensive corals though.

I'm digging the 11 acro frags for $90. that's like $8 a frag.
 
howie you and me are both in the cheap boat.

now we all just need to decide on what to do and who's in. the most I would want in on a 33 pack is 4. that's 8 frags each for just under $70
 
i dont want colonies. i want frags.

i say we ask RM for all acro frags. not too many doubles. and we split it b/w 3 people so it is 90 per person for 11 frags or whatever.

I don't want to sound mean about this, but I don't have the CC space to be putting multiple 33 frag packs on the card. :lol:

For me, trottie and ??? I'll be putting this order in for delivery on Wednesday, the 21st. I'm only home during the day on Monday's and Wednesdays. Being that next Wednesday is Valentine's day I should probably have some time dedicated to my girlfriend.
 
remember to be nice and cut throat on the phone... mostly acros and not many doubles. mabe if you tell them that all of these frags are for you, they wont send any doubles.
 
Unmarked/untraceable bills? I work at a bank I know the phoneys. So don't be bringing them again. ;D
