Trouble shotting Tunze Osmolator

I just hooked up my ATO - and I turned it on - setting the probe above the water level - and putting the pump into some salt water I have so I can pump in some additional water w/out changing my salinity. The pump gets turned on, I can hear it, I can feel it, it's getting warm, but nothing is coming out of the hose I have attached to it. I hear that there's 7 ft of head available, this is only going up about 4 feet, but no water is getting pumped into the tank.

How should I trouble shoot?

On first set up the pump typically has an airlock, there is just a bubble trapped in it, turn it upside down under the water and shake it to get it primed.
