A few weeks ago I got a trio of Solon's fairy wrasse (c. solarensis), 1 male and 2 females. The male came out of the bag not looking so hot and he made it less than a week, never really looking right. The females have been in QT for the last 2.5 weeks by themselves, and over the weekend, one of them turned worse and died this morning. It obviously had something internal going on as it had the tell tale stringy poop and would eat but not gain weight, I had been treating a second treatment of prazipro as this was going on. The other one, had been fine this whole time, but today wasnt looking terribly hot either. She's swimming around, but near the surface and is getting blown around in the current a fair bit. I've tried feeding several times but I'm not getting anywhere with her today. Some scales look a little white, but I dont see any ich spots or anything on her. I just changed about 14 gallons of water (in a 40B).
So far I've had to treat them with furan 2 (the one that died today had a white bump on its top lip when I first got them) and 2 7 day courses of prazi, including some feedings of prazi soaked food. The only thing I really have left is to try copper, but I'm not really sure what I'm trying to eradicate, other than I dont really want to lose another fish.
Any help?
