Hi guys... I just joined up on this site and I'm looking for some help. I got a new LTA about a week and half ago and it has yet to attach. It went to the corner of the tank and then back to the middle and hid under a couple of rocks.
I took a picture of his foot today because I noticed that there are some things on it that may be bad sign? Not sure if they are tears, but I don't know what they are, so I'm looking for help.
After reading up some it looks like I may have gotten him way too soon because my tank is only about 3 months old. I have read that you don't even want to think about getting a nem until your tank is at least a year old, but that is not what the LFS I bought him at told me. They said that since my water parameters are good, he'd be fine. Well, I'm not sure how many nems take weeks to attach, but I hope that he will be fine.
Here is his foot:
Here are some facts about my tank:
Age - 3 or so months
Size - 55g
Temp - 78 degrees
Amonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 0
Ph - 8.2
Salinity - 1.25
Cal - 440
Mg - 1550
Alk - 9.2
Any advice/help provided would be greatly appreciated. I hope I don't lose him! :hmm2:
Thanks!
