So I had the opportunity to pickup a baby Chevron for a friend. Body size is just over an inch. Good coloration. Adorable, as most baby Chevrons are.
But my friend had an issue come up and couldn't come pick up the fish. So I go to place him in an acclimation box, and while going to twist the lid on the darn guys jumps out of the box and into the 400g tank.
My tank has a 4" chevron, 2 4" blue tangs, a 3" purple, a 6" Achilles and 9 yellow tangs from 2" to 4".
Within a couple of hours of jumping into the tank the little Chevron was out cruising and eating frozen brine.
This morning he is all over the tank and nobody is paying any attention to him. So happy for him because there is no way to get him out of this tank.
Here is a full tank shot so you can see catching him just wasn't going to happen.
