TRS torch ID

So this is probably an old question but is the green torch in the corner tank TT? His looks noticeably different than some I've seen, but also i have seen some that look like his. Supposedly the original TT came from Tom from what I've read. Anyways, I traded him a head of my blue tip torch for a couple of his off that colony a while back and am just wondering if it has any linage. Thanks!

Unsure of lineage but the claim seems to have always been it's a TT.

ok thanks guys. i will put a pic up as soon as i can. the reason i ask is mine nor toms seems to have the sweepers ive seen on others.

I have never had a sweeper either. I think it is more a flow thing to get it to happen.

In and amongst themselves TTs differ as they make their ways into people's systems. Some develop even better color. Some develop longer tentacles. If the lineage is there, it's TT. If not, it's still a very attractive coral. Most people, myself included, can't tell the difference between the real deal or the imposters. Verified lineage through legitimate sources is the only way to call it TT.

Same tt in the 180 and corner tank. Led,flow, etc make it look very different.

I most def agree. I've tryed different flows and lighting with minimal sweeper difference. But in my tank the color is great. Better than toms IMO which is relative obviously, but it most defiantly came from the colony in his corner tank that's been growing for 10yrs according to him. So if that's TT mine has to be also. All the variables of everything is what keeps this hobby interesting!
