I got a true percula clown about 5 months ago. A few weeks ago I got another. I read on the forum that it was alright to add a smaller one. MLS said dont I took a chance and did it. I added him and the 1st week they got along great. Now they seem to be swimming into each other and chasing and nipping. I dont want the small one dead. So should I take him out and put him in the sump for awhile. Or leave him in the tank and see what happens.

Are you seeing serious damage to the fishes' fins or body? This is likely the two fish establishing which is the dominant. My two A. ocellaris did something similar, it lasted off and on for about 2 weeks, now I have a darkened, larger female and small, submissive male... :o)

If you ever see them lock mouths, they're out for the kill. But, if you see chasing, nipping and quivering, they might work it out. Like thevillageidiot said, keep a watch out for damage.
