true percs vs. false percs

Hey i was wondering if there was an easy way to tell the difference between the two because i hear that true percs have a better chance of spawning in captivity.

most clowns species will spawn in captivity not just true percs. provide the clowns with a safe/stable enviroment and a mate and the majority will lay eggs once they are of spawning age.

they look very similar. True percs tend to have larger black lines where false O will have thinner ones. Price is the key factor to, true percs will generally be more expensive.

Ocellaris is the fist marine species that was first mass produced. The care for Ocellaris and Percula is similar. coloration of Ocellaris show quicker and can be sold earlier thus less costly to raise to marketable size.

Color and price are variable.The key is the eyes.A perc will have a clearly defined black pupil with an clearly defined orange ring around that.An ocellaris eye is very muddy,without a clearly defined line between the two colors.In my opinion, it is easer to spawn Perc's, but here babies are WAY harder to raise. O's are harder to spawn ,the babies are so much easier to raise.

I have raised percs and maroons and have to say the percs are much easier to raise, however both were relatively easy, but I had a higher mortality rate in the maroons. Not sure on O's though. By the way is your avatar a real picture if so what morph is that and do you have any bigger pics?
