True Percula Pairs

Hello,

I am interested in a Pair of True Percula's. My question is on your page http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=142 you have availability for the the Small & Medium from Papua/NewGuinea.

1. Are these indeed wild caught or Captive bred/Tank Raised?

2. If I ordered quantity 2, will I receive whatever is available or can I request a male and a female as a pair? The only pair I see you offer is from the Saloman Islands and those are not available.

Thank you for your interest in the True Percula Clownfish. These beautiful fish are wild caught from the specified areas listed on our website. We can certainly put in a request for a male and female. However, we cannot guarantee a specific gender on this species as it depends on what we have available at our holding facility. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thank you for your reply. You can certainly put in a request for the True Percula Clownfish pair from the Solomon Islands. Simply click on the envelope icon to the right of the listed price. Enter in your email information and we will email you as soon as they become available.

That's great. I certainly will do that. But one of my questions was, if I ordered Quantity 2 from your available True Percula's would I get 2 males, or 2 females or would there be a possiblilty to get a female and male?

If requesting a male and female we will make every attempt to honor your request. Unfortunately, this is not a guarantee and would depend on what we have available at our holding facility. You may receive two males or two females. However, male clownfish have the ability to change sex; therefore one will become a female and the other remains male should you receive two males.
