"true" roses vs. the ones with green in them?

First off, what's the difference between them? I'm assuming that it varies depending on where they were collected ... Sometimes people list for sale the ones with green in them as being "fake" roses, but is that all just marketing? bc they both look good to me in their own ways lol

what do you guys prefer?

I have never seen them listed as "fake" roses.IME,the ones with green in them seem to be about $15 higher than the "true" reds!So I really dont think theres a differince. But I do like the "true" roses!

the term "true roses" was created by online vendors......for good reason and i dont think i need to say why, as i hope you would know.

They are simply different color morphs of the same species. You can call them what ever you like. It doesn't really matter. They are all E. quadracolor. There's nothing cast in stone that says an anemone has to have X amount of red to be called a rose. If it has a little green on it and you want to call it a rose, then go for it.;)
