Trumpet Coral introuble Plz help

For the past 2 Months my trumpet coral, which has about 30 heads on it, Wont open up. All my levels are good and everything else int he tank is doing ok. I read somewhere about hydroids or somthing and i noticed what kindof looks liek them along the backs of my rocks, and theye are on the skeleton part of the trumpet. Could this be the reason i wish i had a camera to take a picture of it. If anyone can help me please help!

well it could be predators. whats in the tank? have you noticed other fish or inverts near it in an aggressive way. what are your levels?

try to take a pic and post your levels, have they been opening at night by chance
